There has been much written about Sheryl Sandberg and her book Lean In both before and after it was published early last week. In fact, I wrote about it in my last post.   A friend suggested I watch her interview on 60 Minutes a couple of days before her book was released; I thought it was great!!   Just in case you missed it, you can check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8n1NAbShwLc   Please let me know what you think. Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg

I read Sheryl Sandberg's new book Lean In yesterday!!   And I loved it!! Every single word of it!!   I believe writing this book and sharing these stories and her thoughts on "Women, Work and the Will to Lead" was a generous and courageous act of leadership on her part!! She definitely had more to lose than gain by doing so and she knew it and wrote the book anyways!!   Congratulations, Sheryl!!   I encourage you to read it and I would love to hear what you think of it!!

If you attended, please know I am deeply grateful!!   My presentation was sponsored by TEKsystems and I am grateful to them and the young woman there who approached me to speak, Stephanie Coutts!! Stephanie is a member of both the Women in Leadership and Women in Canada groups at her company and I was deeply touched when she approached me and ...
