Robin. Accomplishments, Success, Significance

By - Last updated: Tuesday, January 31, 2012

I asked Robin to tell me about her proudest accomplishments at work. She said: “My proudest accomplishments in the early days were the designations and titles I received and the sales targets I met.  We used to get little gifts for being the highest producers in the office, that sort of thing, and I won many of those in the early days.  So those were fun, nice, trophy-like rewards. A few months ago, I discovered The Careerist and signed up for their daily emails.   In its own words: "The Careerist takes an inside look at how lawyers shape their careers and manage their lives. The blog aims to dissect developments in the profession, provide useful information and advice, and give lawyers a platform to voice their views. The goal is to provide a fresh, provocative take on the state of lawyering. Vivia Chen, The Careerist's chief blogger has been covering the business and culture of law firms for a decade. A former corporate lawyer, Chen is fascinated by those who thrive (as well as those who don't) in the legal profession. Her take: Success in the law (and life) doesn't ...
