When I asked Erica to tell me about her role models, mentors and other heroes, she told me she had had lots of both from an early age. The first ones she recalled were the women who worked in her father’s real estate company. She remembers these women being in their late 40s to mid 60s and describes them as having “fabulous lives and great clothes†and to her they just seemed to have the world by the tail. I asked Erica to tell me about the relationships in her life which she believes had the greatest impact on her and in particular on her work life and career. Erica believes relationships in general have a big influence on the careers of women (and she thinks that it’s probably the same case for men!)
