My new favourite web site is Wowowom.com (Women on the Web). I believe it is aimed squarely at my demographic, women over 40, since so many of the postings resonate with me, so much so that I am tempted every day to send more than one of them to various friends, despite my promises to cease and desist. Its founders and contributors include gossip columnist Liz Smith, journalist Lesley Stahl, writer and author Joan Juliet Buck, actress Candice Bergen (whose character I adore on Boston Legal, except for her seeming affection for the character played by Tom Selleck) and comediennes and actresses Whoopi Goldberg and Lily Tomlin. I coined this term last Christmas. I felt like I was running around doing 8 million things every day and my husband (who has one person on his list for whom to shop) let me know he didn't care for Christmas; it was so stressful!! So many things to do, so many people to keep happy, so many gifts to buy (and no idea what to buy!) And I lost it!!
