I had the distinct pleasure of speaking to a group of young women at a lunch sponsored by Women in Capital Markets yesterday. The subject was Making Connections: How to Build and Manage Relationships. In preparation for the occasion, I reviewed the Babes stories I have told here and came up with a list of Basic Principles in connection with this subject which I elaborated on during the luncheon. My ten Basic Principles were: Basic Principles Be authentic. Establish a network of support. Ensure the relationships in your personal lives are “in order”. Develop your relationships with woman.
