Top 10 Tips to Success

The following are her “Top 10 Tips to Success” which she recently shared at a BMO event and has graciously agreed to share with us. Here goes: Give more than you take. Be excellent. Build genuine relationships/don’t just be a networker. Do the right thing. Listen to and try to understand the perspective of others. Time is your most limited resource – outsource where possible. Don’t try to do it all – delegate as you move up. Invest in great friendships and take time along the way to do the things you love. Work out. Pick the right partner!

Create the life you want by being focused in the direction of what you want for yourself today and feeling positive about achieving it!!   Spend your precious time making the decisions and choices which will impact your life today and not on regrets about the past!! Regrets will not serve you!!   Forgive yourself for the choices and decisions you made in the past and move forward to create a wonderful life for yourself!!

Bev Morris is the proprietor of Churchill's Fine Gourmet Gifts and so much more!!   I am a member of her book club and so received the note she sent out to her BBC (best book club) friends. Women Matter

  Since 2007, McKinsey & Company has published Women Matter, a series which analyzes the state of diversity in the top management of corporations. In January 2014, they released Women Matter 2013 "Gender diversity in top management: Moving corporate culture, moving boundaries."   For me, the highlights of the survey results are:   Female executives are ambitious and sure of their own abilities to become top managers, though they are less confident that their companies' cultures can support their rise. Cultural factors at work are more than twice as likely as individual factors to link to women's confidence that they can reach top management.
