Nancy McInerney-Lacombe is a graduate of the Doctor of Management Program (DM) at Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, Ohio. Her dissertation topic was "Dealing with Difficult Issues: at the Board and within senior management teams."
Nancy is a senior executive with close to 30 years of domestic and international experience in the financial sector. Her career has spanned three distinct areas including banking, banking regulation and financial sector restructuring in the developing world. She is currently, an Executive in Residence at The Richard Ivey School of Business, at University of Western Ontario, in London, Ontario.
Nancy was a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Corporate Governance and Compensation Committee of Desert Sun Mining Corporation prior to its takeover by Yamana Gold Corp. in 2006. In 1998, she was a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Cancer Society (B.C. Division), a not-for-profit organization.
Nancy is married and her pride and joy are her beautiful twin boys.
