Sheryl Sandberg – Three Takes

posted February 7th, 2012 by Janet Graham - One Comment

Sheryl Sandberg is getting a fair amount of press these days given Facebook’s filing last week to go public and her co-chairing the World Economic Forum in Davos this year.

As a result, I have been able to listen to her speak very eloquently at Davos and read about her in both the Globe (Reprint of  a Bloomberg article) and the New York Times.  Every time I see her from a different perspective, however, I am always hugely impressed by her.  I find it somewhat distressing to see how the media endeavours to interpret her intentions, her actions, and her success, subtly questioning her motivations and her commitment!

I have attached the links, so you can see these recent takes on her for yourself and form your own impressions. I have to say,  I am proud of her and inspired by her and assume she has the best intentions in terms of her advocacy on behalf of women!!  Go Sheryl!!

And solely for your delight and inspiration and a shot of joy on this February day, I have included a link to YouTube where you can re-visit (or see it for the first time) Madonna’s incredible performance at the Super Bowl. There is no question Madonna Rocked the Super Bowl!! Go Madonna!!

What an articulate woman. Thank you for sending the Davos link, I had never heard her speak and I am inspired.
