janet and womyn,
Today I am celebrating compassion and in particular those women who have really modeled self compassion. I feel as though I've just discovered self compassion. When something goes exceptionally well, I get to give myself a squeeze and when things don't I can wrap myself in a metaphorical blanket and be ok with it. It's been a journey of almost 50 years to get there AND it's a great place to be. A gentler and easier place to spend time with myself. Even when I'm failng at compassion it can feel more compassionate! Strange. I want to celebrate the natural compassion of womyn and our ability to hold that for each other. And thank you for you Miss Janet!
xxxxxxxx
